Well we are supposed to go to the Cubs game today but again it is looking like 80% chance of thunderstorms 
Quite disappointing since we missed the last game due to weather, but this time we will not be foiled… GO CUBS!!

If I would have filled this out a year and a half ago, it would have been completely different. My life has changed dramatically over that time and you only have to look at my photos to figure out why. I grew up with little so I learned to appreciate everything, in that, I was able to understand what it was to be the one that was poor, picked on and made fun of. When I joined the Marine Corps, I decided that was no longer who I was and my life has never been the same since then. In 2007 my life changed forever again when my son was born and the focus of my life once again was altered. Since December 2007, I have never had a day when I did not count down the minutes till I could go home and see Michael and see what wonderful things Leslie and he did that day. What a miracle a child is and what joy they bring to your life. Looking at his face and seeing my own is such a blessing that I thought I would never get to enjoy, I am truly blessed!

We went to the game, got half liquored up, had a great time and the Cubs won in 10 innings. Don't ask about the train ride back to the car -- we meant to get on the Brown line 'L' train. Well, I was on the phone with my office and we ended up getting on the Purple line and going nowhere near our car... but hey we had fun anyway!!
